When you turn on to Gate Road, switch to GARS 95.1 FM for all the info you need to prepare, plus hear our latest public service announcements (PSAs, in the parlance).
Once you’re in Black Rock City, tune into BMIR 94.5 FM radio.
And remember: the Black Rock City gate officially opens at 10 a.m. Sunday — don’t arrive before then if you don’t have an Early Arrival pass. Yes, really.

We’re just leaving Reno now. We have will-call tickets so we stopped off at the hospital to get IVs for everyone in camp. Planning on spending 10 – 20 hours in the will-call line like last year. Can’t wait! Hope we live.

Tickets have been sent by mail to non-US burners this year. This will most probably speed up the will call process (which, in 2014, only took about 90 minutes for me to be back in the car. I was lucky, I guess)

When passing through Gate, never take your eyes off of your stuff while the crew is searching your vehicle. Keep an eye of everything while they climb over it. This is how things go missing.
