Not so much in a ‘yearning’ kind of way, but more of a ‘failure to attend’. Sometimes my excuses are good, such as surgeries. Sometimes my excuses are poor, such as being poor. Sometimes missing is its own excuse. This year, however, my excuse for missing “The Burn” was not only excellent, it was on theme! On September 1, 2012, the day of the Fertility 2.0 burn, my second child was born into this strange and beautiful world.
