Trixmix, your exposure to Burning Man Women sounds like it has been a bit limited. I know hundreds of them, and they are so very not that. Anyway, it was a great panel, good questions and some enthusiastic new burners.

I hope the ““Burning Man Women” panel goes into depth about the complexity of the Sparkle Pony Phenomenon. It’s great to see these women so empowered out on the playa after they’ve managed to contribute by pulling out a single piece of rebar, complete with photographs and cheers from their fellow campers.

There’s nothing quite as rewarding as watching a female burner feel she’s done something significant by simply showing up to look pretty.

40 years of feminism wasn’t a waste after all.
