Center Camp so far
Center camp is coming along mighty fast. In a little less than two weeks, it’s gone from simply flags in the dusty playa to the king posts being dug to the shade being hung.
Here’s a look at the progress along the way, right up to Friday morning.
the start of things
there was plenty of dust when the king posts went in
there's a new crew name this year, and Jamie had it tattooed on her leg. (at least for awhile)

Any confirmation on the rumor of hordes of bugs on the playa this year?

The rumor is false. It’s swarms of scorpions, which are technically arachnids, so no…there are no hordes of bugs

Looking good! I may borrow that idea of connecting shade pieces to cables for our shade structure this year. Looks like it enhances airflow and flexes in the wind… good design!

Again, you have made my favorite place on earth a reality, Center Camp! To chill, get a cup of Joe, be entertained, talk to my people, get into a drum circle, watch someone express them self…some how…their way, is to magical for mere words. THANK YOU ALL! I LOVE YOU!
